Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde, “!ליזאַ רופט” - “Liza ruft!” ist ein Dokumentarfilm über Fania Brancovskaja, die aus dem Wilnaer Ghetto floh und sich den Partisan_innen anschloss. Heute, mit 92 Jahren, ist sie eine der letzten Augenzeug_innen des Holocausts in Litauen und engagiert sich tagtäglich, um die Erinnerung wachzuhalten und historische Gerechtigkeit zu finden. "Liza ruft!" ist das erste Porträt einer ehemaligen jüdischen Partisanin überhaupt.
Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss der Dreharbeiten in Litauen, Israel und Kanada haben wir die Post-Produktion begonnen. Trotz Unterstützung von Einzelspender_innen und Stiftungen, darunter die "Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany", fehlen noch 8000 $. At the age of 92 years, she continues her daily struggle to keep the memory alive and find historical justice. "Liza ruft! is the first-ever portrait of a former female partisan.
After successfully completing the filming in Lithuania, Israel and Canada, we have started with the editing. Though we have been supported by a number of individual donors and foundations, i.e. "The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany" , we are still lacking $ 8000 to complete the post-production.
